Jeff is a 42 year old
transmission specialist
from Wilmington, NC who
started his racing career at age 16 racing street cars around town. A couple
of years later he built his first real drag car and in his first year of
competition earned Rookie of the Year honors at Coastal Plains Dragway. The
following year he became
Super Pro and Mean 16
track champion. Jeff spent
the next 10 years
competing
at big money bracket races on
the east coast. In 1997 Jeff made the move to IHRA's
Top Sportsman and in 1998 in
his first full year of
competition became World Champion. In 2002 he made the move to Pro Stock and
in the first year won two national events and was named IHRA's Professional
Rookie of the Year.
